- Housekeeping: The Chairman advised those present of the emergency escape procedures. It was requested that mobile phones be switched to silent. If a call was received and had to be taken Members were politely requested to leave the room.
- Apologies for Absence: Cllrs Barnes and Kirby.
- Declaration of Interests: None.
- Provision of Mobile Phone for the Town Clerk - This request had been referred to the Finance Committee from the Personnel Committee. Cllr Irwin was to look at options for a works phone for the Town Clerk. He would look into contracts as well as the purchase of a phone with sim only payment. It was also suggested that the provision of a cover and relevant insurance be investigated. RECOMMENDED that further information be provided at the next meeting.
- 5. Financial Assistance received from Stockton Borough Council due to COVID: The Town Council had received financial assistance from Stockton Borough Council in the sum of £33,698.68p. This was to compensate for restricted opening during the pandemic.
- Banking Arrangements - It had been agreed that the Town Council’s bank accounts would be transferred to Lloyds Bank pre-lockdown. The Government has placed a hold on switching bank accounts, this was still in place. It was felt that the process would need to be undertaken again to ascertain whether banks offered the same facility. Cllr Rutland would contact Barclays Bank with regard to all signatories having access to the account.
